We have discussed in the past that starting your day correctly will lead to having perfect days every day. So this lesson will add some more details for you and help your days to be truly blessed.

As soon as you wake up, think about your day that is ahead of you. Make an affirmation that today will be a perfect day, miracles will follow that miracles and wonders will cease not. Change the affirmation So that it is satisfying and convincing to your own consciousness.

A favorite one that I use is: “I have wonderful work, in a wonderful way, I provide wonderful service, for wonderful pay.”

Use a note to your self posted on the bathroom mirror or the coffee pot to remind you to think about this day. As you perform your duties morning think about your day and what you are going to do. The sun has risen again and will do so with or without you: Choose to be part of today. The blessing of the sun will warm your day, your heart, your soul, and your very essence. Watch the sunrise and think.

Is there something you need to change or resolve, not some problem that needs dealt with, a situation that needs solving, a problem to deal with to get on with your life, a solution you have been able to find? Simply think about it calmly for a moment, if there are any negative emotions like anger or worry, then strongly and firmly dismiss those emotions by saying forcefully “garbage” and then return to pondering the problem.

I was as shocked as anyone by the recent sudden death of movie star Heath Ledger and revelations of his struggle with insomnia.

Here was a strong, fit 28-year-old man in the prime of life found dead in his apartment surrounded by sleeping pills and anti-anxiety drugs.

I’ll leave it for the experts to deterministic mine exactly what caused Ledger’s tragic, tragic death, but it’s clear the Oscar-nominated star of Brokeback Mountain was under enormous personal and career stress and on his own admission he was not sleeping well.

Consider the past six months of Ledger’s life: He parted company with his Brokeback Mountain co-star Michelle Williams, the mother of his two-year-old daughter Matilda, and said his roles as the Joker in The Dark Knight and as Bob Dylan in I’m Not There had left him “stressed out a little too much”.

In an interview in November with The New York Times, Ledger admitted: “Last week I probably slept an average of two hours a night.

“I could not stop thinking. My body was exhausted, and my mind was going quietly.”

Just before his death in January, Ledger had flown back to New York from London, where he’d been filming
yet another movie, Terry Gilliam’s fantasy The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

Police have said there were no illegal drugs in Ledger’s apartment and they’ve been focusing on a possible accidental overdose of the prescription drugs he was taking to calm his anxiety and help him get some badly needed sleep.

On Feb 4, the Los Angeles Times reported that another well known actor, Justin Chambers, 37, (who plays Dr. Alex Karev on “Grey’s Anatomy”) had checked himself into UCLA Medical Voluntarily Center recently “to get help with a pre- existing sleeping disorder, “according to his publicist, Danica Smith.
